Ender backpack — this mod is not what it seems; it’s important to know that the texture is just the cover. Creating items in survival mode
Separate recipes are provided for crafting the Ender backpack and the storage book.
These recipes have been added to the recipe book and are available for use on a 3×3 crafting table. To make the Ender backpack, you need leather, strings, an ender chest, ender pearls, and ender eyes.
The Ender Storage book is created from a book and an Ender Pearl. There is also an alternative recipe that uses an enchanted book, but the enchantments from the original book are not transferred to the new one.
What is inside the mod?
Spoiler
The Ender Backpack uses a Behavior Pack and a Resource Pack.
The Behavior Pack is responsible for the game logic: scripts, items, recipes, and the operation of functions. The Resource Pack contains the resources needed to display items and visual elements.
Some of the features are implemented via the Minecraft Bedrock Script API. Therefore, the appearance of an item is only one component of the add‑on.
**_For example, a storage space with 128 slots is not an enlarged version of the game’s standard inventory. It is implemented as a virtual storage space with its own interface. And the protective field and magnet work thanks to game logic, not just the texture.
This approach has its limitations. The storage interface uses a vertical list with buttons, rather than a full-fledged container grid._**
These are not hidden flaws, but implementation features that are important to consider when evaluating the mod.
So what's the point of this addon?
The Ender backpack combines several useful features that are usually scattered across different mods. It provides additional storage, item collection, protection from mobs, effects management, and overflow handling.
However, not all of these features will be needed by every player. For some, the storage will be more important, for others — the magnet, and for yet others — the protective field. The essence of this mod is not in its visual design. We often pay attention to the texture, but we don’t think about what’s inside. This mod is not what it seems at first glance. The texture may be simple, the model may not look professional, and the interface may differ from the standard Minecraft containers. This mod should be evaluated not only based on its appearance, but also based on its functionality, mechanics, and how well it works in the game.
