Featherlight Optimization
A modern Minecraft modpack that focuses on two key things: delivering the highest possible performance and enhancing the gameplay with subtle, "quality of life" improvements that feel like they belong in the vanilla game.
Unleashed Performance
Experience Minecraft like never before with a suite of modern performance mods. Powered by Sodium, Lithium, and Iris, this modpack dramatically boosts your FPS, eliminates stuttering, and reduces memory usage, ensuring a smooth experience even on less powerful computers.
Vanilla, But Better
Featherlight isn't just about speed. We've included a handful of carefully chosen mods to improve your day-to-day gameplay without adding complex content. Enjoy enhanced audio with Ambient Sounds & Sound Physics, convenient controls with Mouse Tweaks, and a more lively world with Visuality and immersive footsteps.
Full OptiFine Parity
Get all the features you love from OptiFine and more. This pack includes full support for Iris Shaders, dynamic lighting, zoom functionality (Zoomify), connected textures, and more. Any resource pack that requires OptiFine will likely work perfectly here.
Play Anywhere, With Anyone
This is a 100% client-side modpack. It contains no content mods, which means you can connect to any vanilla server, including your own or your friends' worlds. We've also included Simple Voice Chat and Emotecraft to make your multiplayer sessions more interactive and fun.
The Featherlight Philosophy
Built on the modern and lightweight Fabric loader, this modpack is designed to be a perfect, stable base. It's easy to update and you can freely add your own favorite mods on top. Our goal is to provide an experience that is fast, polished, and stays true to the spirit of Minecraft.
