No_exit is an attempt to survive using the completely reworked mechanics of the Scape And Run: Parasites mod the Industrial Craft 2 and Tinkers' Construct mods will help address the associated challenges. The modpack adds new crafting recipes closely tied to the Scape And Run: Parasites mod, as well as a book to help you progress through the pack.

🩸 Parasite Biome
The Parasite Biome is created by Nodes, which appear once a Beckon reaches its final Stage IV and Ubiquitous Development is at Level 4. As it spreads, it infects the landscape on a large scale, converting normal blocks (up to Hardness 60) into Parasite Biome blocks and generating new ones. Non-parasite entities inside suffer a 50% regeneration penalty and receive the Call of the Hive effect, and players see a gray, sinister fog inside the biome or within a Node's effect range. Nodes have 3 levels with crop growth failure chances of 30% / 60% / 100%, effect ranges of 400 / 1600 / 8000 blocks, spread ranges of 200 / 800 / 4000 blocks, and growth times of 8 / 10 / 40 days. A Node is a mass of reddish blocks protecting the Hive Core, and only destroying the Core stops the expansion and can trigger the Dislodgment System. Up to 20 Nodes can exist per dimension, at least 10,000 blocks apart, and by default only in the Overworld, Nether and End. As long as the Stage IV Beckon that created a Node is alive, it will spawn a replacement, so both must be destroyed. Inside the biome you hear a heartbeat that speeds up near the Node, and structures often contain Dead Blood, a water-like liquid that deals immense damage and heals parasites to full within seconds. The combined level of all Nodes in the world buffs newly spawned parasites: Speed II at 3 levels, Fire Resistance I at 4 and Invisibility I at 7. Certain parasites spawn naturally in the biome regardless of light level. Existing biome chunks remain after expansion stops and must be cleared with Biome Purifiers, since Quenches have no effect on them.
