Opsidian Creator is a high-performance Minecraft modpack for Minecraft 1.21.11 Fabric, designed for builders, content creators, cinematographers, technical players, and anyone who wants more powerful tools without sacrificing Minecraft's performance.
Built on the performance foundation of Opsidian, Creator combines modern optimization mods with a carefully selected collection of advanced building, recording, camera, editing, and world-editing tools.
Whether you're creating a cinematic video, designing a massive build, recording a timelapse, planning a Minecraft project, or simply want more control over your world, Opsidian Creator provides the tools to create without turning Minecraft into an entirely different game.
What Makes Opsidian Creator Different?
Opsidian Creator is not simply Opsidian with a larger collection of mods.
The pack is designed around creation.
The performance systems from Opsidian provide the foundation, while creator-focused tools provide greater control over the world, camera, building process, and recording workflow.
The goal is simple:
Keep Minecraft running smoothly while giving creators the tools they need to bring their ideas to life.
Features
Optimized Performance
Opsidian Creator retains the core optimization systems of Opsidian, including technologies such as Sodium, Lithium, Entity Culling, More Culling, and BadOptimizations.
These mods work together to improve rendering efficiency, reduce unnecessary processing, minimize frame-time spikes, and provide a smoother Minecraft experience.
This is especially important for creators, where recording, replaying, editing, shaders, and large builds can place additional demands on your system.
Advanced Building Tools
Opsidian Creator includes powerful tools for building and editing Minecraft worlds.
Axiom provides advanced world editing and building functionality, allowing creators to work on large and complex projects much more efficiently than with vanilla tools alone.
Litematica provides schematic-based building and planning tools, making it easier to reproduce structures, plan large projects, and work accurately from existing designs.
Together, these tools can dramatically improve the workflow for builders working on everything from detailed houses to enormous Minecraft projects.
Cinematic Camera Tools
Creating Minecraft content often requires much more than simply pressing the record button.
Versions
Opsidian Creator 1.0.0Fabric · 1.21.111 month ago Download
Opsidian Creator includes tools designed to give creators greater control over their camera and footage.
Freecam allows you to separate your camera from your player, making it possible to capture perspectives that would otherwise be difficult or impossible to achieve.
This can be particularly useful for:
Cinematic shots
Build showcases
Flyovers
Tutorials
Timelapses
Server tours
Establishing shots
Replay and Recording Tools
Creator-focused replay and recording tools allow you to capture Minecraft from a much wider range of perspectives.
Flashback provides powerful tools for recording and revisiting gameplay, giving creators greater flexibility when producing videos and cinematic sequences.
Instead of needing to perfectly capture every shot during gameplay, replay tools allow you to return to recorded moments and work with them afterward.
This makes them particularly useful for content creators who need precise camera movement and repeatable shots.
Shader Support
Opsidian Creator includes Iris for modern shader support, allowing creators to enhance their footage and screenshots when additional visual quality is needed.
Shaders can be particularly useful for:
Cinematic videos
Build showcases
Thumbnails
Promotional screenshots
Timelapses
Atmospheric scenes
The underlying optimization systems help maintain a smoother experience while using shaders, although actual shader performance will depend heavily on your hardware and the shader pack being used.
Connected Textures and Visual Improvements
Continuity provides connected texture support, allowing compatible resource packs to display connected blocks and other visual effects.
This allows creators to improve the appearance of builds while retaining the familiar Minecraft aesthetic.
Creator-Focused Quality of Life
Opsidian Creator also includes a selection of useful quality-of-life features designed to make Minecraft easier to work with during long building and recording sessions.
These features are intended to reduce unnecessary friction rather than dramatically change the game.
The result is a workspace that feels familiar to Minecraft players while providing significantly more control.
Included Technologies
Opsidian Creator is built around a combination of performance, visual, building, and creator-focused technologies.
The pack includes tools such as:
Sodium
Lithium
Entity Culling
More Culling
BadOptimizations
ThreadTweak
GPUBooster
Visual and Shader Support
Iris
Continuity

Built for Creators
Opsidian Creator is particularly useful for:
Minecraft YouTubers
Video creators
Builders
Map makers
Cinematic creators
Timelapse creators
Server creators
Screenshot and thumbnail creators
Technical Minecraft players
Large-scale project builders
Whether you're working alone on a survival build or producing a full Minecraft video, Creator is designed to make the process easier.
Recommended Workflow
Opsidian Creator can be used in several different ways depending on the project.
Building
Use Axiom and Litematica to plan, construct, copy, edit, and organize large builds more efficiently.
Cinematics
Use Freecam, replay tools, shaders, and camera utilities to create controlled shots and cinematic sequences.
Content Creation
Record gameplay, revisit footage, capture additional perspectives, and use Minecraft as a flexible environment for videos and other content.
Screenshots
Combine high-quality resource packs, shaders, and advanced building tools to create polished screenshots for thumbnails, showcases, and project documentation.
Performance and Creation
Creator-focused mods can naturally require more resources than a minimal optimization pack.
Opsidian Creator therefore keeps performance optimization at its core.
The objective is not simply to add as many creator tools as possible. Instead, the pack is designed to provide a practical collection of tools while retaining the performance improvements that make the Opsidian family useful on a wide range of hardware.
Your actual performance will depend on your hardware, render distance, shaders, resource packs, world complexity, and the tools being used.
Recommended Settings
Minecraft Version: 1.21.11
Mod Loader: Fabric
Recommended RAM Allocation: 4–6 GB
Creator may benefit from slightly more memory than the standard Opsidian packs when working with large builds, extensive schematics, replay data, shaders, or complex worlds.
However, allocating excessive RAM is not automatically better. Allocate an amount appropriate for your system and the size of the projects you are working on.
Ideal For
Content creators
Minecraft YouTubers
Builders
Cinematic creators
Map makers
Large-scale Minecraft projects
Timelapse creators
Screenshot and thumbnail creators
Technical players
Players who want advanced building tools
Anyone who wants a more powerful Minecraft creation environment
How It Fits Into the Opsidian Family
Opsidian: Base mopack built for outstanding proformance and smooth gameplay
Opsidian+: Proformance steady modpack with added essentials for better gameplay
Opsidian Creator Made for content creators, people who use advanced creation tools, while keeping fresh proformance and smooth gameplay
Maximum performance.
Each version is designed for a different purpose, rather than simply being progressively larger versions of the same modpack.
Design Philosophy
Opsidian Creator follows three core principles:
Performance First
Creator tools should not come at the cost of unnecessary performance loss. The optimization foundation remains a core part of the pack.
Powerful Tools, Familiar Minecraft
The goal is to expand what you can do with Minecraft without completely changing what Minecraft is.
Create Without Limits
Large builds, cinematic videos, timelapses, tutorials, screenshots, and ambitious projects should be easier to create without having to assemble and maintain a large collection of individual mods yourself.
Optional Performance Tip
Some optimization mods included in Opsidian Creator can take advantage of Java's Vector API (SIMD) for additional performance.
If your launcher supports custom JVM arguments and you are using a compatible Java version, you can enable it by adding:
--add-modules=jdk.incubator.vector
If you do not add this argument, Opsidian Creator will still work normally. This option simply enables additional CPU optimizations where supported.
Performance Notice
All FPS values shown in the gallery were recorded on the developer's hardware. Actual performance will vary depending on your hardware, graphics settings, shaders, resource packs, world complexity, and installed mods.
Opsidian Creator takes the performance foundation of Opsidian and turns Minecraft into a powerful creation environment for builders, filmmakers, and content creators.
