# 🎃 Ultimate Horror Experience
Turn your Minecraft world into a nightmare. Ultimate Horror Experience is a horror shader pack for Minecraft 1.21 built to make survival, horror maps, and let's plays genuinely unsettling — without tanking your FPS.
Compatible with Iris and OptiFine.
✨ Features
- Pulsing chromatic aberration — a subtle "broken camera" distortion that intensifies at the edges of the screen
- Cold, sickly color grading — desaturated, greenish-grey tones that drain the warmth from your world
- Dynamic vignette — the screen slowly closes in around you
- Film grain — found-footage style noise for a raw, unsettling look
- Random light flicker — lights fail unpredictably, just when you least expect it
- Heartbeat pulse effect — a red pulse that syncs with a beating heart rhythm
- Subtle scanlines — VHS/found-footage finishing touch
- Extra night darkening — nights are even more oppressive than vanilla
All effects are fully adjustable in real time through in-game shader options — tune the grain, vignette strength, desaturation, aberration, and toggle flicker/heartbeat on or off to match your (or your viewers') tolerance for fear.
