🚀 WHAT IS VULKANIZED POJAV?
This modpack was created for Android users who want to run or experiment with Vulkan Mod using the proper libraries and configurations required for it to function correctly. Please make sure to carefully read the implementation tips and important information below before launching the game.
Note: Vulkan Mod is an active community-driven project. Performance improvements may vary depending on your device, GPU drivers, and Vulkan implementation. While some devices may see significant gains, others may experience little to no improvement.
🛑 TIPS & IMPORTANT INFO
Before launching the game, you MUST follow these important configuration guidelines to avoid crashes, rendering issues, or compatibility problems:
-
🛠️ System Driver Activation: Enable the "Use system Vulkan driver" option in your launcher settings. This is required for Vulkan Mod to initialize and function properly.
-
❌ Shaders Incompatibility: Post-processing shaders are currently NOT supported under the active Vulkan mobile translation layers. Keep shaders disabled to prevent rendering issues and unexpected crashes.
-
📦 External Modifications: Adding additional mods may introduce compatibility issues or runtime errors, as some modifications are known to conflict with the Vulkan rendering path.
-
⚙️ Manual Optimization: Adjusting video settings such as render distance, particles, and simulation distance can still provide additional performance improvements depending on your hardware.
-
📚 Library Architecture: The bundled Vulkan libraries are available in two separate versions. Minecraft 1.21.11 requires V1 libraries, while V2 libraries are intended for the newer expansion branches within the Vulkanized Pojav ecosystem.
⚙️ UNDER THE HOOD (How We Engine-Boost Your FPS)
Instead of adding unnecessary content or feature-heavy modifications, Vulkanized Pojav focuses entirely on performance, rendering efficiency, and resource optimization.
-
⚡ Graphics Pipeline Redirection: Vulkan Mod utilizes a modern graphics API designed to reduce rendering overhead and improve frame pacing on supported devices.
-
🧵 Asynchronous Multi-Threading: CPU-intensive tasks such as chunk generation and world processing can be distributed across multiple processor cores, helping reduce stuttering during gameplay.
-
📦 Zero-Waste Memory Architecture: Memory optimization improvements help reduce allocation overhead and garbage collection pressure, allowing more efficient use of limited mobile RAM.
-
👁️ Proactive Occlusion Culling: Hidden entities, particles, and geometry that are not visible to the player can be skipped during rendering, reducing unnecessary GPU workload and improving overall performance.
📱 LAUNCHER CONFIGURATION & SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
_%2F_MOBILEGLUES_(1.21.11_/_26.1+)-009688?style=for-the-badge){kind=icon}
| Specification | 🟢 Universal Profile (v1.21.10 and Below) | 🔴 Advanced Profile (v1.21.11 / v26.1+) |
|---|---|---|
| SOC Chipset & GPU | Supports ALL Android chipsets (MediaTek/Mali, Exynos, Unisoc, Low-End Snapdragon). | Hardcoded exclusively for Qualcomm Snapdragon (Adreno 600/700 Series Only). |
| Verified Hardware | Verified stable on Anbernic RG556 (Unisoc T618 // MaliG57 GPU) & Anbernic RG557 (Poco X6/X7 Pro D8300/D8400 equivalents). | Verified stable on Redmagic 10 Pro & Redmagic 11 Pro flagship architectures. |
| Vulkan API Path | Supports Vulkan 1.2+ architectures (known to work on Vulkan 1.0+ but not guaranteed). | Strictly requires native driver support for the VK_KHR_dynamic_rendering extension. |
| RAM Allocation | 2.5GB RAM minimum runtime configuration. | 3.5GB - 4GB RAM allocated engine buffer. |
| Launcher Paths | Works on ANY Pojav-based launcher profile (PojavLauncher, Mojo, Zalith, Amethyst). | Must be launched via Amethyst Launcher or Zalith Launcher profiles only. |
| Renderer Engine | Standard default launcher rendering paths or GL4ES hooks. | Must be set specifically to MobileGlues renderer framework. |
❓ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: Why is the file size so incredibly small?
A: This is completely intentional. Vulkanized Pojav is designed as a lightweight performance baseline. Heavy UI modifications, shaders, and gameplay content have been intentionally excluded so users can focus on testing Vulkan performance with minimal overhead.
Q: My game force-closed immediately after launching. What happened?
A: First, make sure the "Use system Vulkan driver" option is enabled in your launcher settings. Second, if you downloaded Version 26.1+ on a non-Snapdragon device, it is expected to crash due to hardware limitations. Finally, for Version 26.1+, ensure that the MobileGlues renderer is selected when using Zalith Launcher or Amethyst Launcher.
Q: What is the "Failed to find queue family" crash error on version 26.1+?
A: This error indicates that your device's Vulkan driver does not support, expose, or properly implement the VK_KHR_dynamic_rendering extension. Since Version 26.1+ depends on this functionality, the game cannot initialize correctly. In this case, use Version 1.21.10 or below instead.
